Negotiations
IAFF Local 1784 and the City of Memphis negotiating teams held our first official meeting on Friday, March 5, 2021. This meeting was mostly for establishing the agreed upon ground rules, and identifying the economic and non-economic articles of our contract.
Additional meetings dates for this week are set for 03/09–11/2021
Scholarships
The MFFA Foundation Scholarship Application period has opened. The MFFA Foundation awards ten (10) $1,000 scholarships to children of IAFF Local 1784 members. The winners are awarded by random drawing in April. Applications must be completed in full to be considered. The deadline to submit an application is April 9, 2021 at 3:00pm.
